achieve the high level of interoperability is only possible if it is a clear division of functions between the three key elements ( reference model, archetypes / templates and terminology)
None of these components can achieve semantic interoperability in case alone.
Therefore efforts should involve the combined expertise in these domains and their target is the interaction of all components, not only in clinical practice, but also has to address issues stud.
The main goal of semantic interoperability is to be able to recognize and process information semantically homogeneous, although the cases represented are heterogeneous, ie although they are structured differently and / or use of terminology different and / or using different natural languages.
This requires a strong equivalence between all systems, so we can develop services focused on implementation of clinical care pathways, alerts and component systems for clinical decision making.
